The Saturdays, Britain's de facto girl band of the '10s, have given us their first breakout solo star in petite popstrel Vanessa White. Following the silky smooth 'Don't Want To Be Your Lover', her latest ballad ‘Nostalgia’ gets up close and personal as the singer reminisces about an old school love affair over a mellow R&B groove. Production comes courtesy of Norwegian super-producer and Saturdays' stalwart Thomas Eriksen, who harnesses the starlet's vocal power with the most delicate synth swells, sublime harmonies and a mega-watt chorus. The song was co-written by Vanessa which shines through in the snappy-as lyrics “It’s nostalgia, making me miss that kiss and everything about ya”. Keep a keen eye out for her debut EP Chapter One, will be released in February.
