Arriving alongside a novel video, directed by Louis Hudd, the fresh-faced Manchester ensemble present themselves with confidence and relatability. Embracing a growing trend of combining organic and electronic instrumentation, extraterrestrial synthesizers circle an intricate nylon-stringed guitar pattern. Fleshed out with folk-inflected strings and lush sax parts, grounded acoustic drums add to the earthiness of the track. Lyrically and melodically accomplished, 'See You Around' feels like a track by a band that have been playing together for years (and maybe they have).
