TEME have returned to the fold with their unique brand of alt-pop and a new four-track EP called HA LF. The idea behind the track ‘H R’ is centred on the idea of being half of a relationship, with the duo explaining that “each song on this EP comprises of two main sections. We want each song to be a journey for the listener, but with repetition that grounds them.” Influence from the likes of Bon Iver and Sufjan Stevens shines through, but the pair have a unique sound that merges modern production and pop songwriting with retro sounds and an inimitable, groovy funk. -Dan Peeke
