SUNGLASSES FOR JAWS WALK ME HOME

‘Walk Me Home’ is an intriguing piece of music from Sunglasses For Jaws. On the one hand, we have a selection of electronic sounds that wouldn’t feel out of place on a Bowie or Kraftwerk track, and on the other, we have sweeping string runs and pop hooks to be proud of. The sun-drenched psychedelia is ramped up by the fact that the duo that make up Sunglasses For Jaws are themselves producers, while there is even a Beatles connection. It was recorded at Sean Ono Lennon’s New York studio – you can feel a direct link between ‘Walk Me Home’ and The Claypool Lennon Delirium’s astonishing album, South Of Reality. On June 3rd, be sure to check out Everybody’s Made Of Bones. -Dan Peeke
