Spiker than a sea-urchin, step-sister duo Skating Polly bring forth a rip-roaring EP with new video 'Louder in Outer Space'. The pair, who hail from Oklahoma are entirely self-taught and the DIY ethos is all there within this grunge heavy belter. The pair are also chalking up their rock credibility points as members Peyton Bighorse and Kelli Mayo have collaborated with iconic outfit Verruca Salt for this forthcoming New Trick EP, due 28th April via El Camino Media. The result is something that echoes the nineties' heyday of alternative but with their own Skating Polly twist. With the likes of John Doe, JD McPherson, Shirley Manson, Meredith Graves and Kate Nash amongst their fans, we're clearly in good company. - SJ
