Doused in dub influences, from its jumpy bass line to the dizzy delays that permeate the mix, 'LET IT HURT' is uplifting and dangerously catchy. Radiating an infectious sense of carefree positivity, there's a kind of untouchable power in their lyrics as members Jasmina and Nabyla Serag explain: “We were in the studio, and as the beat played, we started singing along spontaneously. What came out was ‘let it hurt, hurt, hurt, let it hurt.’ There wasn’t much thinking involved—it just felt right...Then we had to figure out what it really meant and what we wanted to express.
