Signed to forward-thinking Bristol label Spinny Nights, innovator seigfried komidashi reveals two final tastes of his forthcoming album leopard under black sun! 'still love !' and 'scylla + charybdis' highlight different flavours of komidashi's artistry, the former feeling slow, free and light and the latter existing in a darker, more angular space. Splayed over a down-pitched loop, komidashi's spoken word flows easily, like a stream of consciousness, as the sample writhes and warps beneath. At just under 2 minutes, 'still love !' feels like a snippet of the artist's inner world - curious, intimate and profound.
