Fuelled by the bad things happening in our world and the loss of lives in the pursuit for democracy, SAÍGO is a young soul singer with something to say. The LA crooner has dropped new single 'The Other' in response to the death of a blogger for liberal views in Bangladesh, and the defiance is palatable with the groove. Encompassing elements of jazz, electronics and soul, his melting pot is silky smooth in production and the whirring samples add an unexpectedly present edge to the slow jam. The track will be part of a debut EP teased for next year and with so much to say already, we're sure it's going to be both ethically thought provoking as well as musically on point. - SJ
