‘Tipping Point’ is the dramatic new track from Bristol-based composer and producer Ryan Teague, whose latest EP Pattern Recognition releases March 22nd. A combination of acoustic sources and electronic synthesis, Teague considers the upcoming EP his “most ambitious to date” describing it as “the culmination of all my previous work and musical interests.” While ‘Tipping Point' is primarily electronic it found genesis as an acoustic piano composition, the skeleton of which still rests beneath the rich and considered production. The sound design is immersive and masterful, and Teague’s expertise is abundantly clear as the piece arpeggiates and builds, melodic and percussive elements interplaying with ease. At it's culmination there is an urgent sense of finality, and after the outpouring of emotion the track fades, leaving the listener with the sense that a pivotal moment has passed. -Adam Brown
