Ploughing closer to release of their long-awaited new album Madness, POLIÇA unveil another atmospheric single from it. The ghostly tones of 'Violence' present a sonic juxtaposition between the sombre melodies and the more danceable rhythm section, particularly towards the end of the piece; whilst Ryan Olson's all-encompassing production style washes over and engulfs its listeners. Vocalist Channy Leaneagh says of the track: “Along with the core members of the band, the new single 'Violence' brings on some of Poliça’s favorite collaborators like Velvet Negroni’s Jermey Nutzman, Boys Noize, Dustin Zahn, CJ Camererie and Aaron Baum to bring a slow-building dance-ish take on someone else’s problems.” Madness will arrive on the 3rd of June via Memphis Industries. -Holly Mullineaux
