Pave The Jungle’s latest track, ‘Lucky Ones’, is an aggressive, punky alt-rock track feels reflective as they discuss growing up in a small-town in a remote area of England. “Alongside the expected truisms of small towns: boredom, insularity, alcohol abuse, petty feuds and violence; the song hits upon some of the virtues, as well,” explains Rachael Whittle. “A strong sense of identity, belonging, and close-knit community.” The track is filled with the band’s trademark math-rock influences, key changes and complex rhythms and stands out as one of their best.
