Psychedelic art-pop sextet PARTICLS have released their newest single, ‘Loving Feeling’. The UK-based band have outdone themselves with this track, crafting a uniquely fragile sound that feels like a slow walk around a cold, dark city. Heavily distorted guitar countermelodies juxtapose the voice of Rudy Blu and the tempered plodding of the rest of the band, adding a very subtle layer of confusion that matches the track’s lyrics: "It’s really a question about the frustration of misguided, unresolved feelings, not knowing quite what to do with or where to put them. The lyrics just repeat throughout the song, the main question, starting off quite timid but building to an almost angry frustration by the end.” The band are playing their biggest show yet at Folklore in Hoxton on January 15th, 2025. -Dan Peeke
