‘Shandy In The Graveyard’ is the new track from the impossible-to-describe American band Panchiko. This track sees the art rock band lean towards the world of trip-hop, with hazy synth textures and a glitchy swing defining its sound, which is topped by memorable psych-pop melodies and wrapped in shimmering, detailed production. New York-based rapper billy woods is featured on the track, dropping a verse that outlines a disintegrated love story: ‘She left a necklace and never retrieved it / I left a message meandering gently amidst our secrets / The clasp was broken but you know me / I tend to keep the pieces / Shards in shoeboxes still sharp.’ Panchiko are releasing their new album, Ginkgo, on April 4th, 2025, via Nettwerk. -Dan Peeke
