London-based singer-producer Paige Bea has released her new track, ‘Worth It’. It’s a dark track with a sound that fits into a world of experimental electronic music just as easily as the club-ready hyperpop of Charli xcx. At the bottom of the texture sits a rave-inspired bass line, which sits in contrast with a luscious string arrangement and tender piano improvisation. The lyrics of the track “came shortly after a date I'd just been on. I was already just so anxious about when I was going to get the text back and how much longer we were going to have to do this silly dance before we just gave in to falling in love and seeing what happens.” The futuristic video that accompanies the track is her third collaboration with Greek digital artist Chloe Karnezis, who has used Unreal Engine to digitally manipulate a 3D scan of Paige’s face.
