Antwerp-based musician Noonzy has returned with his first track of 2025, ‘Buffalo’. It’s a well-crafted track that balances the dynamic journey of the track with its emotional tenderness. It begins soft and almost frail sounding, before slowly reaching an impassioned climax, underpinned by groovy, rich beats. He says: “Sometimes Godot just really isn’t coming, so you might as well accept it and move on... I like to think the song somehow captures this transition from frustration to relief and empowerment.” Noonzy is releasing his forthcoming EP, Puppies, on March 28th, 2025. -Dan Peeke
