In support of his upcoming debut album, MISZCZYK has dropped a new single: ‘Lunar Days’. It’s a short-but-sweet, quirky track that lets uplifting sounds and tones match an idiosyncratic lead vocal. Bold harmonic choices on the electric guitar act as a juxtaposition to the rigidity of the percussion, while an insistent bass keeps an undeniable swagger present throughout. On the lyrics he wrote for the track, Craig Fahner says: “I'm pretty interested in the tricks that casinos use to keep people gambling, like keeping windows and clocks out of spaces and tuning every slot machine's sounds to the key of C major. I imagined someone building a casino on the moon. Since a lunar day is 29 earth days long, people would gamble for longer before having to go to bed. I used this hypothetical moon casino as the central image as I wrote the music and lyrics for this song." MISZCZYK’s debut album, Thyrsis Of Etna, is due for release on July 15th, 2022. -Dan Peeke.
