Having previously collaborated with the likes of Banks and Rhye, mAsis are an act well-versed in the world of sparse electronics. As a result, the Californian trio’s newly unveiled track ‘Good Life’ is spine-tinglingly spacious with huge depth in-between its minimal instrumentation and airy vocals. Questioning whether life is greener on the other side, mAsis manage to tease out the meatier moments until the end, taking the listener on a journey through its unraveling hooks before echoing into nothing. As they sing they are “looking for the good times coming”, we’re pretty sure it won’t be long until mAsis find what they are looking for. - SJ
