LA-based artist little bit has released her new single, ‘out to dry’. It’s a cathartic, warm and textured track with influences that combine her pop heroes with the indie-rock artists she grew up with. “For me, letting go requires giving myself permission to wallow and retraining my thoughts to focus on other things,” she says, on the lyrical inspiration behind the track. “When you’re in the throes of a fixation, letting go can feel like the completely wrong decision, and it’s not until you’re out of the thick of the feelings that you can look back and realize it was the right thing for you.” ‘out to dry’ is taken from little bit’s forthcoming debut EP, talk a blue streak, which is out via Hit The North Records on September 20th, 2024. -Dan Peeke
