London-based talent Khushi has recently shared his latest single, ‘Like A City’, taken from his upcoming debut release Strange Seasons (due for a January 24^th 2020 release). The song is very personal to the vocalist, acting as a representation of bringing his exciting music out of his home studio shed and into the outside world: “right at the end of ‘Like A City’, I played the last note and there’s a train that takes off in the background. But I think that’s kind of perfect – like I’m pulling away from the shed, finally”. His work combines electronic inspirations with a delicate acoustic guitar and some almost choral, dynamic vocal lines. You’d be forgiven for noticing some similarities to the work of James Blake, with the iconic artist personally mixing this debut. - Dan Peeke
