Sardonic 7-piece KEG have been turning heads with their erratic post-punk in recent years. Back with a characteristically zany new offering, 'Elephant' is due to feature on the new EP Girders, set for release on the 2nd of September. Almost overshadowed by its borderline disturbing video by Jay Bartlett, tortured guitars and rapid cowbell clacks announce the track, before a straight forward tom fill signals for the more melodic elements to join in. Veering between relatively restrained verses and all-out chaos in the choruses, expertly positioned trumpet toots nod to the track's namesake, with little else making sense.
