Hi Frisco are speeding towards the release of their debut album, Goodbye, Blue Monday, with its final promotional single, ‘Quiet Lights’. The track actually came to exist in a pre-Covid world: “The initial demo happened around Christmas, I was reflecting over the last few years of my life, searching for the last time I had the feeling of being carefree. Daydreaming of being free.” It’s yet another glittering, tranquil piece that takes as much from the booming reverb of eighties snare drums as it does the arena-filling, anthemic choruses of modern pop. With such a distinctive sound and an effortless ability to craft earworm choruses, we couldn’t be more excited for Goodbye, Blue Monday. -Dan Peeke
