People find inspiration in the most isolated places and Gap Dream is one such artist, having dreamt up new album This Is Gap Dream whilst holed up in a vinyl warehouse. Presumably the backdrop influenced the latest single from the new record, ‘Rock and Roll’, which in itself is a good introduction to Gabe Fulvimar’s forlorn out-of-focus fuzz. Looming out of the low-key industrial sonic backdrop, his echoing voice gently feeds you his messages before it retreats back again into darkness. Haunting yet surprisingly catchy, this one will worm itself way into your brain whether you like it or not. - SJ
