Playing to their strengths, ‘Paradiso’ bubbles expectantly over a steady-grooving Krautrock beat before breaking out into high-intensity choruses filled with ascending guitar lines and hypnotising vocal hooks as well as a gentle lyrical nod to the The Pixies ‘Monkey Gone To Heaven’. With an almost false ending around the 3:10 mark, ‘Paradiso’ comes back to bite you with a celebratory final run through its increasingly disorientating chorus.
