Munich-based band Fazer have returned with their new single, ‘Apex’. It’s a languid track that engages with the band’s penchant for lighthearted humour, as well as the wide range of influences that lead to their addictive blend of psychedelic rock, indie and jazz. The track is “one of our few recordings on which both drummers play the same kind of groove, instead of complementing each other. We wanted it to come bold, with a certain attitude.” Their intentions were realised perfectly with this warm, overdub-heavy composition.
