Mongolian artist Enji has revealed her new track, ‘Ergelt’. It’s a tender, beautiful ballad that continues to explore her hauntingly atmospheric style with a bittersweet undertone. She brings together piano, double bass and guitar in a spacious, pseudo-classical arrangement. On the track’s background, she says: “Last autumn, I spent some time back in my homeland. I chose not to do any musical events—just to live my “old” life. And in that stillness, so many long-forgotten feelings were stirred—by familiar places, simple routines, fleeting moments. That’s when I realized, deeply, how much I had changed, how far I had gone. Everything was still mine, and yet, no longer entirely me.” The new album from Enji is entitled Sonor, and is due for release on May 2nd, 2025, via Squama Recordings. -Dan Peeke.
