Unique Orange County-based pop duo Double Wish have dropped a fantastic track in the form of ‘Fever Dream’. It’s an eerie, kaleidoscopic track that leans heavily into a floaty, psychedelic sound through a balance of dark and light guitar-work and otherworldly synth sounds. It’s the third track from the band’s debut EP, Light Split Sparkle, which is out now via Hit The North Records. Interestingly, the band take The Mama’s & Papas album, People Like Us, as a major influence on this: “When they recorded this, their relationships with each other and themselves were so complex. Romance, substance abuse, and the illusion of optimism that taunted their careers all came to the surface. I see a similarity in the way I express myself through songwriting.” -Dan Peeke
