Canadian musician Dorothea Pass has announced her debut album and dropped its lead single ‘Anything Can’t Happen’. The track is filled with the emotional resonance of her words, the energy of her layered guitars and the smooth, dreamy textures that build the base of her compositional style. She explains: “I hope that this song facilitates some cathartic surrender to the fact that there is so much we can’t control or resolve. There is not only fear but also possibly hope in the idea that we don’t know what is coming.” Despite this being her debut album, Pass has spent many years introducing American audiences to her authentic folk sound and working with artists like Jennifer Castle.
