DITZ FOUR
Brighton rock band DITZ share blaring new single ‘Four’, just ahead of releasing their sophomore album. The new track follows ‘Taxi Man’ as one of three previews from forthcoming second album Never Exhale, an anticipated development to succeed their 2022 debut The Great Regression. ‘Four’ is built upon woody percussion and a scorching chord strike which strobes out into a zealous, grinding groove, backing vocalist Cal Francis’ candid recitations. In a raspy murmur, Francis muses: 'The bubbles cling to to the side of the glass/Champagne flutes were never made to last', the crux of the track which gives way to an angular, relentless soundscape. Another example of DITZ being an irresistible force. -Kayla Sandiford
