‘Dust’ is the sweetly melancholic new single from Alabama-native, Brooklyn-based Caroline Says. In under two minutes, the artist takes us on an evocative journey filled with organic acoustic guitar explorations and an earthy, emotive lead vocal. The short instrumental that closes out the track is arguably its highlight, with subtle atmospheric textures and a slide guitar solo acting as the perfect musical reflection of her lyrics. On the road trip that inspired the song, she says: “I drove to West Texas to see the Davis Mountains.
