BINGO FURY HAPPY SNAKE
Bristol's Bingo Fury have returned after causing quite the stir with their idiosyncratic debut 'Big Rain'. It's follow up 'Happy Snake' is a noticeably more hectic affair that conjures comparisons to Captain Beefheart, The Birthday Party and even Edwin Collins at points. Occurring in a little under 2 minutes, the cryptic lyrics are existential in nature as the seesawing instrumentation serves as a sonic unravelling of the mind. Arriving alongside another excellent accompanying video, directed by Max McLachlan, it's hard to avoid the feeling that Bingo Fury are about to hit the jackpot. -Holly Mullineaux
