Bellzzz has dropped her debut single, ‘Plastic Unicorns’. The musical landscape of Bellzzz is unconventional and disconcerting, with a pop sound poisoned by writing that is simultaneously unsettling and tenderly melodic. It’s a groovy cut filled with twists and turns and memorable production choices that tells a story of loneliness and identity. She says that it is “essentially about how when I’m feeling low and unfulfilled how that manifests itself in a physical way. Being a neurodivergent person can make you feel a misfit sometimes; you can feel unfulfilled and a bit lonely, and so the song is about wanting more than the superficial stuff the world puts in front of you.” Bellzzz will be revealing more music in 2025. -Dan Peeke
