‘True Believer’ is Art d'Ecco’s new single about the seduction of evil from within us. He describes the track as “a metaphor. Think of it as the duality of good and evil. We are all capable of inhabiting both worlds, but most of us intrinsically strive to inhabit the good.” Musically, it’s an ambitious, exploratory track. The initial relentless thud of that rhythmically rigid bass suggests a minimalistic approach to compositon, but we’re quickly introduced to a horn section and a menagerie of effects that support his psychedelic vocal delivery.
