To celebrate the release of their self-titled debut full-length, Weaves have unveiled typically smile-inducing visuals for 'Tick'. With its loopy, slide guitar motif, the track is as colourful and chaotic as we've come to expect from the four, as driving, gently hypnotic rhythms join crunching guitars to provide the bed for Jasmyn Burke's relentless vocal work. "The video is about the incessant ticking of the clock, nagging at you to realize your dreams, and the gentle reminder that sometimes dreams should remain fantasy," says the band's guitarist, Morgan Waters, who helped edit the visuals, in keeping with their DIY aesthetic. With extensive tour dates set for the coming months, Weaves are set to win over many more hearts and it's a big 'Tick' from us. -G.O'B
