Roz Yuen is an Australian vocalist, songwriter and producer based currently based in Berlin. Citing pioneering artists from Björk to Fever Ray and FKA Twigs as influences, Yuen's own brand of electronic pop is intimate and understated. Earlier today, Yuen shared a more experimental new offering via Soundcloud. Simply titled 'Train', the brooding instrumental piece comprises of samples recorded on Yuen's phone whilst travelling on trains during a short stop over in Singapore. Creating a beat from said samples, droney synthesizers swell and retract beneath lighter electronics and doorbell-esque samples that give the track an appropriate Brian Eno Music For Airport's kind of feel, particularly when the breathy choir joins in.
