As their name implies, rising Brighton foursome FUR are just what we need to warm up on a cold winter night. Revealing another romantic cut with an equally gushy but admittedly charming video, FUR's 'Angel Eyes' revels in 60s nostalgia. Filmed on grainy Super 8 film and doused in warming sepia tones, the quartet mess around learning the rules of croquet whilst competing for the affections of a gorgeous young woman. Vocalist William Murray explained, “The three most written-about things are love, money and sex. One I’m not that comfortable writing about, and I don’t have that much money, but everyone’s felt some feeling of love and there’s something powerful about that. It’s the strongest emotional connection I can have with a song.” Aptly, FUR's eponymous debut EP will arrive via Nice Swan Records this Valentine's Day. -Holly Mullineaux
