'Ocean Eyes' is the first track we've heard from Los Angeles born and raised artist Billie Eilish, and what a divine piece of music to be introduced to. Billie's parents are both musicians and her brother produced this, her third track after 'Fingers Crossed' and 'She's Broken, so there's a rich lineage of songcraft in her veins. It doesn't take more than a few seconds of the hauntingly beautiful 'Ocean Eyes' for some of Billie's talent to seep out, with willowy vocals and tender lyricism bobbing on a current of smooth, chugging beats and a tranquil, swelling synths. Had we mentioned she's only 13 years-old? No? Well there you go. Like you could be even more impressed by this über talented newcomer. - DC
